Morningside Meow is a small, in-home cattery located just outside of beautiful Colorado Springs. We have been here nearly our entire life, enjoying beautiful sunny days and moderate weather. Humans and cats alike enjoy dozens of bird species on our feeders throughout the year.
Having grown up with Maine Coon Cats throughout my childhood I was excited to continue my journey with the breed. I'm thrilled to share my experience and love of the breed with you and your family!
Our cats and kittens are all raised in our home, living among children and large dogs. Our children share the joy of kittens and gently play with them each day.

* I am registered with CFA ( Cat Franchise of America) and TICA (The International Cat Association)
* I rarely sell with breeding rights.
* I DO NOT allow people to come to my home to visit with kittens. Why? Because I have kids who live here. Also, there are so many diseases you can bring into my home that could potentially kill my kittens.
* I DO send weekly photos. When kittens are moving around more and playing I will send videos along with the photos.
* I DO NOT allow kittens to leave my home until minimum of 10 weeks of age.
* My kittens will be wormed, 2,4,6 weeks of age. They will receive their first vaccine at 8 weeks of age.
* I DO require a deposit to hold the kitten of your choice.

* I Had my first litter June 2019.
2. How Many Litters Do You Raise In A Typical Year?
* That depends on our cat's ages, health, and our homelife and schedules.
3. What paperwork do you give with your cats?
* Pedigree
* Health and Vaccine Vet Records
4. Do you offer a written sales contract?
* Yes. There is a non-breeding agreement, you will receive a copy to review prior to leaving your deposit.
5. Do You Perform Any Testing On Your Breeding Cats and/or Their Offspring?
* Yes. Each adult cat is tested for:
* PKD: Polycystic Kidney Disease
* PK-Def: Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency
* HD: Hip Dysplasia
* HCM: Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy
* PRA: Progressive Retinal Atrophy
6. What shots and tests do you do on your kittens prior to placement? > feline rhinotracheitis, calicivirus (novel), calicivirus (traditional) and panleukopenia vaccines.
7. How Do You Keep Your Cats? All of our Queens and Kittens live in our home, under our feet and on our couches and beds. They are completely members of our family. Our Boys live in guarding homes nearby, inside the home and members of a family.
8. May I Have The Kitten Checked Out By My Veterinarian Before I Purchase It? You can't take the kitten prior to purchasing. I do recommend a vet exam within 72 hours of pick-up so you can establish a new relationship with this pet and your veterinarian.
